Old Milon
"Old Milon" by Guy De Maupassant is about a man by the name of Old Milon. The one trait that I chose to describe him is smart. I think that he was smart because he thought up a lot of ideas on how to avenge his father and sons’ deaths. Before the first death, Old Milon treated the Prussian soldiers with respect and kindness. He treated them this way so in return for his kindness he could go out at night. During one of the first nights he went out, he came upon a Prussian solider and killed him. Old Milon took the dead solider’s clothes so he wouldn’t get caught at night, and took his horse so he could get around easier. After the fist murder, he killed 16 other soldiers to have 8 killed for his father, and 8 for his son. During the last murder, Old Milon was caught by the Colonel and was killed after being questioned and spitting at the Colonel. I think the trait explains him because he was so smart and twisted that he could think up a plan and was not caught till he was finished all the murders.
